Inspired by his own family and his time in the classroom, Paul Mason began writing stories for children with his first short story The Fortune Teller published in 2008. Since then he has become an established children’s author with over a 100 published titles in a range of genres read by children all over the world.
He is the author of three short children’s novels: The Twins, the Ghost and the Castle (shortlisted for the 2014 Portsmouth Book Awards), Factor Four: the Awakening, and Factor Four: Tiger, Tiger. His story Thirst won the inaugural School Journal Short Story competition in 2014, and his book Life in the Desert is a finalist in this year’s Language Learner Literature awards.
Paul’s new novel The Twins and the Wild Ghost Chase is due to be published early next year.
