About

After over thirty years in the media, Julie Thomas ‘semi-retired’ to Cambridge in 2011 and self-published three books.

Her novel “The Keeper of Secrets” sold over 45,000 copies as a self-published e-book and was picked up by HarperCollins USA in 2012. It has sold in eight international markets and as an e-book and has been translated ¬†into Dutch.

Her second book “Blood, Wine and Chocolate” was released this March by HarperCollins NZ, debuted at number one on the Nielson NZ Best Selling Fiction list and stayed on the list for 16 weeks. It is a thriller set in London and on Waiheke Island and revolves around new and inventive ways of killing people using wine and chocolate.

Her third book, a sequel to “The Keeper of Secrets” called “Rachel’s Legacy” has just been completed and will be released March 1st 2016.

She now lives in Putaruru, with a gorgeous rural view and a highly manipulative cat.
