Sam Ashworth @ The Library
Join local writer Sam Ashworth as she provides an interesting insight into the background of what inspired and motivated her to write The Falconer’s Daughter. One of the central themes of The Falconer’s Daughter is the young protagonist’s experience rehabilitating and training an injured hawk. Sam was able to draw upon her own experience of this ancient art to incorporate it into her first novel, which has added a nice dollop of mystery and interest for readers.
Sam has been making up stories in her head since her childhood, but The Falconer’s Daughter is her fist published work. Sam will explain her journey from making up stories for her own entertainment and as a compensation for being very shy as a child, to being a confident writer and speaker as an adult.
This is a session not to be missed !
